izzie ain't goin nowhere....

ABC FIRES BACK AT KATHERINE'S DEMANDS
ABC is launching a counter-offensive against "Grey's Anatomy" star Katherine Heigl, who says she's "hurt" the network didn't offer her more money for a new deal.

Heigl, who plays Dr. Izzie Stevens on TV's top-rated drama, isn't talking to show producer Touchstone TV (part of ABC), according to people.com.

"Katie is disappointed and hurt that (producer) Touchstone doesn't value her as much as her other co-stars, especially Sandra Oh and Isaiah Washington," a source told People.

But ABC fired back yesterday, making it crystal-clear Heigl isn't going anyplace - and that it offered her a nice raise.

It also slapped her for taking her contract dispute to the press.

"Fortunately, we have a long-term contract to ensure she'll be with the show for several years to come," the network said in a statement.

"In recognition of her tremendous talent and value to the show, we recently approached Katherine with an offer to raise her compensation significantly above the terms of her current contract.

"We were surprised to see this gesture reported negatively in the press - and want to reassure fans that she will continue as Izzie Stevens."
