Authorities scoured a building at eBay's PayPal division Wednesday for clues about a Halloween night explosion that shattered a plate-glass window on the four-story building and forced the evacuation of dozens of employees.
Investigators determined the blast was deliberately set and believe an explosive device was placed outside an exit at the building that leads to the company's first floor network operations center.
"It's definitely not an accident," San Jose police Sgt. Nick Muyo said. "Everything else there is accounted for. This was not any kind of accident or malfunction."

I ran outside looking for a plane crash.
But is from inside the building. Some are saying it was a transformer.
Windows were blown out.

friend: Bottom floor hallways were filled with smoke. I had to run through the buildings and yell for people to evacuate because....get this...
There were no fricking fire alarms to pull.

friend: The bomb squad and hazmat are on site searching the buildings.
friend: Yeah. Crazy. Couldn't find one anywhere. And I looked high and low.

friend: Yeah...no injuries.
Just a lot of rattled nerves.

Man, I never even considered that. I ran over there straight past the location of the bomb and was just thinking about making sure everyone was okay.
