It may not be 9 inches, but it's still impressive...

Apparently there really is some snow on the way for us. But for some reason, we're getting the short end of the...um, we're getting less than they'll get south of us. (I better stay away from the innuendo's...no telling who's reading this these days.) Anyway, Bill Meck in his blog is saying 2 to 5 inches for us this time, but 5 to 10 in the southern counties.

The long awaited totals for Friday and Saturday...(Sound the trumpets and release the pigeons...we can't afford doves around here...)

As we've talked about all week, the chances look better south rather than north for the heaviest snow. There will also be a very sharp northern cutoff which right now we have near Cincy...it could be south of there.

Also, Lexington is included in the 2-5" band...that means 2" is as likely as 5...although at this point I'd lean more strongly to the 2".

This arrives very late Thursday or more likely Friday and lasts into Saturday.

We'll have more later...just wanted to get this out.

Is it bad that I'm hoping the sharp cut off line moves to the north? We've gotta Jeep that ain't been really tested in four wheel drive yet.
