I'm gonna go out on a limb and call this the biggest hit in the whole BCS series of 2008-09. In the "Friendly, Neighborhood Bar" (that is featured routinely on Friday Night Lights),
and I were watching this game. When the Sooners' Manuel Johnson got laid out by Florida's Major Wright, the whole place reacted...even the servers and people who weren't even there to watch the game. To say Major BLASTED Johnson would be the understatement of January at the very least. On the Oklahoma sideline, this is what was heard when checking on Johson.Trainer: "Are you ok? That was a pretty decent hit."
Johnson: "I'm fine."
Trainer: "Ok, where are you?"
Johnson: "At the Orange Bowl."
Trainer: "Why are you here?"
Johnson: "To prove that the SEC can't be beat in a National Championship game."
Trainer: "Ok, one last question. Who are you?"
Johnson: "I'm Batman."
