For all his posturing and preaching and saying he'd be here next year, word has come out that Tubby Smith was being pursued SIX WEEKS AGO by Minnesota Athletic Director Joel Maturi. And Tubby recorded his weekly program with Rob Bromley, and Rob asked him specifically about the future, and Tubby again said he'd be here....knowing full well that Maturi was en route to pick him up.
