"best of you" debate, prince vs. foo fighters

According to Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins, his band has been bested by Prince. His Purpleness played Foo Fighters' hit "Best of You" at the Super Bowl halftime show, and though it wasn't what we would call the highlight of Prince's performance (that would be "Purple Rain") Hawkins has decided it trumps the original.

"Dude, I have no idea why he did it, but I'd love to find out," the drummer reportedly said. "I mean...it was pretty amazing to have a guy like Prince covering one of our songs - and actually doing it better than we did."
