In the June issue of GQ, Christina Aguilera dishes about Mariah Carey: "She was never cool to me. To the point that one time we were at a party and I think she got really drunk, and she had just really derogatory things to say to me in front of [Aguilera trails off] ... But it was at that time that she had that breakdown, so she might have been very medicated." On Tuesday, Carey responded via e-mail, "I had hoped that Christina was in a better place now than the last time I saw her, when she showed up uninvited at one of my parties and displayed questionable behavior. It is sad yet predictable that she would use my name to reinvent past incidents for her promotional gain." Aguilera immediately apologized, perhaps because she understands how it feels when guests misbehave: A source tells Us that at a recent party at her house, "a close friend of Christina's had sex on her sofa and someone urinated on her white shag carpet." REINVENT?!?!?! As I recall, all Christina has ever done is music. Mariah is an "actress/singer/diva", with several major flops on her record. But what do I know? I'm only part of the music loving public.....
