Clerk uses 6-pack of beer to fight off robber

KNOXVILLE (WATE) -- A clerk fights back by using a 6-pack of beer to stop a robbery overnight.
This happened just before 12:30 a.m. Thursday at the Favorite Market Shell station on Middlebrook Pike in West Knoxville.
A man walked into the store, went to the back to grab a 6-pack of Bud Light, took it to the counter, where he pulled a knife and demanded cash. Instead of forking over the money, the clerk grabbed the beer and hit the crook in the head.
Knoxville police are looking for a man who's about 5'10", 150 lbs, wearing a black jacket, and baggy blue jeans. They are also pretty sure he has a large bump over his right eye. That is where the cans of beer hit the man.
